Vintage Linen with Standing White Pine | 24" x 32.5" | Textile Art

I love vintage linens as much as I love white pines.  In particular I like to think about the hands that have touched the linens to slow stitch the designs.  I like to think about who has used the linens and even why they are not longer being used.  Trees are just as steadfast.  

I have used a vintage linen tablecloth in this piece as well as pieces of a variety of different vintage materials.  They are stitched together and hold a story we will never know.  The border was stitched by an unknown crafter.  The majestic white pine adorns the piece with its story of resilience and strength as well.

This piece is framed with a custom-made solid maple frame included in the price.
