Hidden Pond | 14" x 17.5" | Mixed Media

Have you ever been walking in the woods or on a path and come across an unexpected body of water.  If you stop and listen you will notice so much more noise by the pond - birds, frogs, animals drinking and playing.  It is a hidden playground for little critters.  This piece is a contemporary nod to these little ponds.  

It is a mixed media creation on a custom maple veneer board.  It is finished with a museum conservation-grade epoxy which makes the piece shine in the light.  The finish also allows the natural grain of the wood to pop against the vibrancy of the acrylic paint and material used to create this unique art.  

This piece is framed with a custom-made solid cherry frame included in the price.
