Dragonflies dancing in the summer air remind me of cottage life, and the carefree days of my youth.  A dragonfly symbolizes change; the kind of change that has its source in mental and emotional maturity, and the understanding of the deeper meaning of life.  

This piece is a mixed media creation on a custom maple veneer board.  It is finished with a museum conservation-grade epoxy which makes the piece shine in the light.  The finish also allows the natural grain of the wood to pop against the vibrancy of the acrylic paint and material used to create this unique art.  

This piece is framed with a custom-made solid walnut frame included in the price.
