Stepping In #2 | 24" x 24" | Abstract on wood board

When I travelled to Finland, I went to every art gallery I could find. I was most taken by the abstract works of art. I liked the freedom of the pieces, juxtaposed with the intricacies of the brush strokes, textures and different mark making. This series is the start of something new for me. I am stepping into a new medium with courage and excitement.

The pieces in this series are painted in acrylic on wood board and custom framed with a solid cherry frame.
