I am not an early riser. I wish I was, but it is just not in the cards for me. I know that the early dawn is a mystical time when the forest wakes to a new day. This piece is inspired by a quote from one of my favourite poets:
“Three Things to Remember
As long as you’re dancing, you can
break the rules.
Sometimes breaking the rules is just
extending the rules.

This piece is a mixed media creation on a custom maple veneer board. It is finished with a museum conservation-grade epoxy which makes the piece shine in the light. The finish also allows the natural grain of the wood to pop against the vibrancy of the acrylic paint and material used to create this unique art.
This piece is framed with a custom-made solid walnut frame included in the price.
